COMING SOON TO JORDAN HARBOUR,
WOMEN'S WATERSPORT WEDNESDAY.
The Niagara Rowing School and Paddlesports Centre invites you to Women's Watersport Wednesday where you can join other like-minded women for some Wednesday night splashalistic fun.
Over the 4 week period between May 31st and June 21st you will get to enjoy on each Wednesday night the opportunity to kayak, canoe, row, standup paddle board and even dragon boat. All equipment is provided and no prior experience necessary. You just need to bring your love-life attitude to enjoy this Wednesday night adventure.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Women’s Watersport Wednesday will consist of 4 separate on-water sessions where teams of up to twenty women will participate in a ...different watersport experience over this month long event.
At each Wednesday night session teams will be assigned to a different watersport station (either the kayak station, rowing station, dragon boat station or the canoe/SUP station) where they will be instructed on safety, technique and how best to enjoy that particular watersport. Teams will rotate through the various stations over the 4 Wednesday nights. Every station will offer a new adventure where you will acquire new skills, learn a piece of Niagara’s history, make some new friends, and of course have a unique experience not offered elsewhere.
On the final night (June 21st) after the regular on-water session, a barbeque and wine tasting will be held to celebrate an awesome month of friendship and fun. And as a special bonus, the Niagara Rowing School and Paddlesports Centre will be inviting everyone who participated in Women’s Watersport Wednesday to come back out on the water where we will paddle our Summer Solstice Flotilla of canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and dragon boats out to Lake Ontario to watch the sun set on the longest day of the year, all the while banging our drums to mark the end of the first day of Summer 2017. (Please note, spots are limited so register soon so you won't be disappointed)
